Do I need recording experience to book a session?
Not at all. Most of our guests have never been in a recording studio before. The system is automated and our team walks you through anything you need before the cameras roll. If you can hold a conversation, you can record here.
How much does it cost to rent a podcast studio in NJ?
At Facet Media Studio, audio-only sessions start at $75 per hour and video sessions at $110 per hour. The rate is based on whether you’re recording audio or video, not which room you choose. Both the Cozy Lounge and the Roundtable are available at either rate. There are no membership fees or long-term commitments.
What equipment do you provide?
Everything. Both rooms include Audio-Technica AT2020 XLR condenser microphones at every seat, Godox VL150 softbox lighting, a mobile teleprompter with Bluetooth controller, and a Rødecaster Video console for automatic camera switching. Video sessions also include three Lumix 4K cameras. You don’t need to bring any equipment.
Can I record a podcast with multiple guests?
Yes. The Roundtable setup seats up to four people, with an individual AT2020 microphone for each speaker and separate audio channels for clean post-production. If it’s just you and one guest, the Cozy Lounge seats two with the same microphone setup.
Do you offer evening and weekend sessions?
Yes. We schedule sessions on days, evenings, and weekends by appointment. Use the booking form or contact us directly to find a time that works for you.
Where exactly are you located?
We’re at 240 Frisch Court, Suite 301 in Paramus, NJ, right off Route 4 and Route 17 in Bergen County. Free parking is available at the building, day or night.
Can I record a podcast in Spanish or another language?
Absolutely. We’ve hosted sessions in English, Spanish, and several other languages. The studio equipment works exactly the same regardless of what language you’re recording in. Your voice is welcome here.
What file formats will I receive after my session?
File delivery depends on the package you select. We offer raw footage delivery as well as edited options. Reach out before your session to discuss what format works best for your workflow.
